What are your superpowers? We all have superpowers. Maybe that is where we should start is defining a superpower. There are some of you that are like, no I have no superpower. AND, you would be wrong, we all have superpowers.
Examples of superpowers are - endurance, strength, resilience, tenacity, consistency, observation, decisiveness, agility, sensitivity, persistence, influence, insight, positivity and persuasion.
Let's talk about a couple of these:
Persuasion is the ability to persuade someone, or others, to win them over to your point of view and to inspire. This is grounded in relationships and integrity. Being yourself, honest and vulnerable - committed to serving others and persuading others with genuine authority.
Positivity is the ability to see the bright side of life, a situation or circumstance even though it may not be the best, could be negative, and sad. Giving hope and purpose, knowing the negative situations and circumstances last for a season, for a time.
Observation is the ability to observe and assess a situation or circumstance with a realness, and without emotion that sways. Ability to slow down, take some time to evaluate and see the truth. See the real issues and problems with solutions in mind. Get rid of the noise and see the reality.
Decisiveness is the ability to make a decision and stand behind that decision. Observe, act, and make a conclusion. Quick on your feet, having a good sense of reality, knowing the situation, having enough life skills and history to have seen a similar situation.
Tenacity is sticking with a goal, project, task even when it gets challenging. To be able to see things to completion. Responding and determining to find a conclusion, an answer. Having the tools to research and get to the bottom, to make a conclusion or recommendation.
Insight is seeing things from all angles, other opinions, revelations and angles. Taking all the information and making a decision, an informed decision based on facts.
